She needs more! But rather than have her swallow (?) that many, you can have the docs up the strength. Is she also taking an acid reducer? They kinda go hand in hand for GI problems. Tackle this one asap, how's her weight? It may not be a big deal now but you will save her problems down the road with her digestion. The only thing you have to watch is that sometimes when they switch enzymes, bowel obstructions occur. This is usually caused because of 2 things. To be continued...
Just kidding, it seems like I'm always writing a book, is it annoying? I don't mean to sound like a no-it-all, I just don't want others to go through what we had to. Scratching and clawing for our sick babies.
Ok...reason 1 is because sometimes we don't always take enzymes when we're suppose to, then we get a new dose and we try to. Blockage occurs. So always take enzymes, remember... more with fat, less with low or non fat foods. Be Consistant! Just like parenting.
Reason 2 is that the dose is just too high. Remember to watch those diapers after a switch and write it down if you need to. If acid reducers are introduced, watch too, because they really work well together. Goodluck to you... Jess
