I was diagnosed with UC about three years ago after a colonoscopy... I have been on high dose predisone most of the time, tried enemas, tried sulfasalizine, asocol, lialda, and am now on methotrexate, which was supossed to help with the joint pain too... I thought it might be helping bring me into remission bacause I am down to 10 mg of predisone... the lowest I have been on in a long time. I have not had much blood in stool so I thought things were getting better. I just had a colonoscopy to determine how active it was. I found out that I am in a big flare and it doesnt look good, it is in segments all throughout my colon. My DR says I also have Chrons, but it is in my colon, I thought Chrons attacked the small intestine. Turns out I have to go on remicade. Has anyone had this happen? Will the Chrons move into my small intestine? Any feed back would be great! thanks.

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
