Ok, so I was told about 2 weeks ago that I have a spider web of fistulas within my bowels. I also have a couple from my intestine to my bladder. YUCK! The doc asked me if I had passed air while going pee. NO! Well, now I am. I called and told the dr office, and also told them that it had been two weeks and I still had not heard from Surgery (which I was supposed to hear from them in a couple of days)! I cannot change drs because I go to UAMS and they are the best and they are free for my care because my case is SOOOOOO unique. What should I do? Does anyone know if this is dangerous or not? They acted like I urgently needed surgery but weeks have passed and I am still just taking my Pentasa and Laxatives and Oxy. Surgery acts like they could care less, and sometimes I feel like my hero GI just can't get anyone else to care. I know he does, but he is here from India and had became the best Resident quickly so he is swamped! What would you do??

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
