I have had major stomach and now intestinal pain for 24 days now. It got bad enough I went to the ER Saturday. The CT scan and report suggest I have Colitis and they recommend a colonoscopy. Finally after waiting on my doctor to help I gave up and am finally seeing a GI tomorrow. I am still in so much pain and missing work. My question is what should I make sure I ask the GI dr. tomorrow? If it is UC is this a life sentence to this kind of constant pain and eating nothing but broth? Just when I was really getting into cooking too. Any advice would be wonderful.
