I have seen alot of research stating that blueberries can act as an anti-inflammatory in IBD cases. There is alot of research as well saying that probiotics are the way to go as they help the body introduce the "good" bacteria back into the intestine. As a UC victim for 3 yrs, I have been on aaaaalllllll the drugs out there. Everything from asacol to lialda to prednison to rowasa to canasa, etc. I have even been hospitalized near my 21st birthday (so there was no drinking for me!). I am done with drugs, chemicals, side-effects, and pill burden. I want to do it naturally so I am trying this probiotics and blueberries theory. Has anyone tried it? Or has had experience with a probiotic alternative medicine? Im going at it kind of blindly so any advice will help.
Thanks guys! =)
