A couple weeks ago I ran to my husbands doctor my left arm was double the size of my right and I couldn't move it started when I woke up that morning. My daughter had shots that day and her doc had me see her husband about it and he claimed I sprained it while sleeping! Then gave me NSAIDs even though I told him that because of my UC I can't take them! So I tried to tough it out but withing 4 hours I found myself seeing my husbands doc (my doc is on vacation) He decided to do an Arthritis Panel and some other blood work. I talked with him a few days later and he informed me that everything was normal except my ANA (Anti Nucular Antibodies) this was positive, when I asked what that meant he didn't answer. Does anyone know if this could just be related to the UC?
