Has anyone heard this before? I went to my dr the other day and reported that my Colitis symptoms were much better, however I am still unable to tolerate most food. I told him as long as I stick to a strict diet I am doing better. He knows I have been under a lot of emotional stress lately and mentioned that he thinks I might be dealing with IBS now because it would be "unusual" for someone with such a small amount of disease in their colon as I have to not be able to tolerate food if the inflammation is better. He mentioned the stress that I have been under as being a problem as well. I looked up IBS and it does certainly seem to be brought on by emotional problems. I also get these contractions in my gut like I really have to go bad, but only mucous comes out. It seems like I feel like i have to go all the time, but I don't really. Does anyone with UC have that symptom? Cause I guess this is a symptom of IBS. Does anyone know treatments for IBS?

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
