My GI won't prescribe me anything for IBD related pain because of the "serious damage it can cause in patients with IBD." I was given percocet in the past, and have been taking them as needed (which is only on days that I work, and even then, only once in the afternoon). I have heard of serious concern regarding NSAIDS. As far as percocet/acetaminophen based drugs, have people heard of serious effects? Is that only in patients who take them regularly? How do other people deal with the pain??? I can manage other symptoms with a very careful diet, but nothing gets rid of the pain. I'm really scared that I may have to leave my job (again.)

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
