I have recently switched specialists due to the fact that my previous doctor misused Remicade and now I am unable to continue using it without having a severe allergic reaction. My new doctor has put me on Humira, which is very similar, but is made with human proteins instead of mouse proteins. I have been disappointed in how my CD is responding to it. I have been on it for two and half months now, and I'm wondering if anyone else is on this medication and if it gets better? It certainly is not working as well as Remicade used to! I'm hoping that it's just taking longer to take effect...
