Gas and bloating with CD flares

Hi All,
Newbie here. Had CD for 23 years, and finally figured maybe there's some other folks out there dealing with similar issues (duh!).
My recent flare ups have been accompanied by major gas and bloating that actually causes more pain than the CD itself. Does anyone have any neat tricks or tips for helping to pass the gas and reduce bloating during flare ups?

Hi there. Usually when I bloat and have gas it is because I ate something that didn't agree with my intestines. Try avoiding what you ate right before you bloat. I have been diagnosed in 2003 but had symptoms since 1988. Had to figure out what my diet was in 1994. Everyone with Crohn's have different diets. Eat whatever doesn't bloat you and huty you.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
