Can you develop sensitivities to foods at any time? My son had a colonoscopy and they determined that he was lactose intolerant, but not sensitive to wheat/gluten. I am trying to create a diet for him to help maintain/gain weight, and also to stop his diarrhea, but don't want to eliminate wheat products if I don't have to. My concern is that as far as I know he only recently became lactose intolerant, so do I also need to worry that he will eventually become wheat/gluten intolerant? Also, has anyone has success with going organic, vs. buying regular food? I'm moving that direction on the assumption that most of the food we buy in the supermarket has been poisoned to some degree, and that it might be contributing to the condition.
