I had a bowel resection in December of 2011. It helped with the worst of pain, but still had pain. Also, I went from constipation to diarrhea a ton everyday after surgery. I recently went off gluten and it helped to where I'm having solid bm now. However, still having pain. And this past week has convinced me I am now flaring again. I have had immense gas that lasts all day, abdomen pain, rib and back pain (when my intestines get angry they push on my back and ribs, usually know when a flare hits full force on the morning I wake up and realize my ribs are so sensitive that I can't get a good position and deep breathing only makes things worse). I am trying a new integrative Dr and have my functional Dr. I do have a GI appt scheduled on Sept 25th but may just cancel. Because I have a low pain tolerance and fibromyalgia by the time they can see something visible in a colonoscopy I feel like I'm dying. Plus I've been through all the crohns meds, both pills and biologics. I already have so little cortisol that it is almost addisons disease I'm not going on prednisone again. Right now I'm taking natural anti-inflammatories (boswellia, corydalis) and doing igG powder to help seal leaky gut. About a month ago I did see my GI and told them I thought I was headed down a flaring path and they said we had just looked recently and everything looked good... They said to come off the boswellia and corydalis because those were the problems. Yeah ... I don't think so. I was off them for a week and it was an extreme increase in pain both Sharp and dull in abdomen. I credit them with keeping the flare away for as long as they could. Anyone have any ideas of alternative medicine or herbs that might help? I know that sometimes this gets so bad we have no choice but to resort to western medicine and dreaded prednisone but I'm hoping to keep that from happening this time. So many meds have caused dangerous side effects. ( shutting down kidney function, tightening, osteopenia). I feel awful, but I know I can feel worse. And luckily haven't seen any blood. I hope everyone is doing ok. I have so much more of a complicated medical health that it is hard to decide which to treat at the moment and drs are super cautious or just say they are confused. Love and light to all.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
