I was contacted today regarding some lab tests I had done last week. They did a urine culture as well and I already knew I had a UTI but when they actually got the culture today the doctor said he found some stool in my urine leading him to believe that I may have a fistula going into my bladder. I know that with CD this can be a common occurance , but what concerns me the most is that I have an ileostomy. I have only 2 feet of small bowel left and absolutely no colon nor anything beyond the small intestine. So I am wondering if I do have a fistula how could it really be possible for the tiny bit of small bowel that I do have left to possibly make it that far down. I have an appointment for Jan. 2nd to follow up on the infection and in the meantime to take 10 day regimen of amoxicillin. In the meantime I thought I would see if anyone else out there has heard of this and what kind of information I can get because knowing me I am just going to sit here and wonder and worry until I know something more LOL. It's taking so long because I am out of state for the holidays so thats as soon as I can get back in to see him. Thanks in advance to anyone that reads this and/or responds!

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
