Wow...I didn't realize how sick I was for the last few months!! I started to flare in December, and nothing was really working. The dr put me on prednisone, which worked for 3 days I think. Anyway, I ended up in the hospital for about 8 days after a quick flex sig. 6 days of IV steroids and fluids, 2 days of prednisone (40mg) and I finally got to go home! I'm on the prednisone for something like 14 weeks, but if things keep going well I don't care!! One good thing did come out of it....I got an early ultrasound of my baby!! It is actually older than we thought, so I'm 10 weeks on Tuesday! I guess I am that 1/3 that gets worse during pregnancy! Regardless, I'm feeling much better now and actually have energy to get off the couch! (and am not chained to the toilet!) Isn't it fuuny that you don't realize how sick you were until you are feeling better?! Hope everyone is doing well!
