I've been suffering my whole life with crohns but wasn't diagnosed until I was 15. The only thing that I have noticed that helps in anyway is eating healthy, exercise, no stress and a positive atttude. Although saying these things is easier said than done on a regular bases. When i say healthy i can't even the good healthy stuff, like watermelon, broccoli, kiwi, cabbage, mushrooms, lettuce, radishes, green onions, onions, cucumber, strawberries, oranges, apples and the list does go on believe me. These are just some of my favorites which are off limits. I'm limited to chicken, potatoes, rice, pork, yams, bananas, honey dew melon, cantaloupe, and anything that becomes mush without fibre, acid, sugar, or TASTE. Ggggrrrr. Although i'd like to say i stick to this diet i'd be lying, i'm addicted to food. I took foods for 5 years in highschool so i can cook, but everything i can cook i cant eat. So if anyone has any comments i would love to hear from you.

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
