I was diagnosed with crohns in 2001 i have been in the hospital every march july and november like clock work... last july I ended up back in the hospital but this time had to have surgery to remove 20 inches of intestine that had died from the disease... the doctors told me I should have 10 years complication free and wouldnt u no it march rolls around and i had to go back in for surgery again because my intestinal wall collasped around the previous surgery site... as if recovering from that wasnt hard since the surgeries i have been comming down with one GI virus after another..my immune system is just overwhelmed... its completely fustrating.. I thought the surgery was suposed to help not make thing worse .....has anyone expiereced anything like this
