hey everyone i havn't been on here for a while. this morning i woke up and went to the bathroom and to my surprise i found a lot of blood in my stool. i have never had that, maybe i have but never seen it. I am scared. wondering if that may be a sign that i will be getting a flare up soon. i am working 60 hours and been feeling fine, maybe just a little tired. am i about to get a flare up?

It is possible. Try to get more rest and see if you can cut back on your hours at work if you can. Tiring yourself out can make things worse.

I have never had bleeding without hurting very bad, have you had any cramping? it seems odd not to have any signs, you need to go to the doctor or at least call, bleeding is not good regardless if you feel bad or not.

I have had lots of bleeding without pain.

I would call your doc about that.

I have experianced the bleeding without pain about 6 months ago and basically my dr put me back on prednisone just for alittle while as well as taking asacol. You could also ask your dr if their are any pills you could take for cramping. The best thing you can do right now is not to stress out because that is not going to make your 60 hour work week any faster or better. What I would do in this situation is immediatly go on a simple diet of things that are easy to digest that way I am not putting any extra stress on my digestive system so hopefully the energy you save can go towards making the bleeding stop. I would call my dr and see about what I should be taking medicine wise, and then I would do some deep breathing excersizes and try to relax. If you want meditate, or lay down and watch a movie. This is going to happen every so often but the good news is... that you can always get past it, it will always get better and if you catch yourself in time and can do preventative maintenance usually you can get it to stop right away or heal faster. I am just speaking for myself, because I know all our bodies are different, but maybe a liquid diet for alittle bit?

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
