Being diagnosed with UC has hit my bank account pretty hard. Between all the doctors visits, medication, vitamins, and ER bills....i definitely was NOT prepared for all of this. What are some ways to get the amount not covered by insurance taken care of? And my medication is costly as it is...and the doctor wants to put me on an additional med which means more money. On top of that...school loans are due!! Is there anything out there to help me pay for school?? Scholarships? Grants? Anything having to do with UC that can help me?! I've been trying to stay calm and not get stressed but it's tough when everything hits at once and you aren't prepared.

It hurt for a...
