Im having surgery on April 17th to get an ileostomy bag. Im very nervous and scared. Ive had surgeries on my intestines before but its what will be there afterwards. Taking care of a bag...I don't know the first thing about it. I meet with a stoma nurse on the 16th so hopefully he will help me and show me what I need to do. Does this actually improve your quality of life? Can I get some feedback on anyone who has one and how they deal with it? Any info is appreciated! Thanks so much,
