I am new here and not officially diagnosed yet. The wheels of the medical community here grind slowly and am getting very frustrated. I started with diarrhea last June with cramps. Now have abdominal pain on both the right and left sides around my rib cage area and on my lower left abdomen too (I have diverticulitis too). I am waiting for a upper GI barium swallow with small bowel follow through results that a surgeon ordered. My gp also did blood tests and the only things that were out or the norm was my potassium, magnesium and phosphorus were low, my liver GGT was in the 300 range (it has been running around 100 - 150 for probably 5 years, dx fatty liver) and my triglycerides were high. Currently, my diarrhea has slowed quite a bit. The easiest meal of the days is breakfast, then lunch but by suppertime, well, lets just say that supper doesn't agree with me these days. I am constantly burping and alot of gas. Anyone here have any suggestions as to how I might tackle a meal plan or ANYTHING?? Thanks for the input....chickadee42

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
