My husband is a type 2 diabetic and until he had his heart attach in February he ate as he pleased and didn't take his meds. Since his heart attach he has been doing better about the meds, but gives me a hard time about his diet. He refuses to believe that he can only have 3 servings a week of beef and pork. My husband says that after his bypass surgery he will be able to eat all the beef and pork that he wants if it is lean. I am still trying to convince him that he can only have 3 beef and pork. Please tell me if I am right.

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
