Do you have Nitroglycerin? Do you have documented blockages? If so, have you tried the Nitroglycerin?
Your profile mentioned an enlarged heart...you may have some fluid build up around your lungs causing your shortness of breath.
Call your Doc and get in ASAP.
I'm glad you got help. Really you should have gone to the ER sooner. I waited too late and was lucky I had to have emerg surgery though.
Bottom line get the surgery or you will die. It's not that bad, really. Your life will change you will feel 20 years younger.
