My dad has been home from the hospital for 8 days after a triple bypass, silent heart attack and mild stroke. He has fallen twice since coming home but was not seriously hurt, and uses a walker whenever he feels he needs it. My sister is his primary caregiver as he recovers and lives there with him. She is afraid what the doctors will say when she tells them dad fell twice since being home. Can anyone please give me any advice on this, or maybe you have had a similar experiance and can tell me how things were handled etc. Any and all comments/advice are greatly appreciated.

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
