Arlene, as you feel up to it... I think we would all like to hear about your surgery. What it was like, and any improvements you may notice as time passes. I am sure you have to be fully healed to see real differences, but I thought there might be minor notable changes along the way? I'd like to know what your expectations were and if those expectations were meant. What the doctor expected and if he got the results he wanted. I have my maxed amount of epidural shots of my cervical DDD....(and no one cares about my lumbar DDD)..... I've done physical therapy, muscle relaxers, Amitriptyline, Nortryptiline, desipramine.....narcotics... So I decided to go to a spine specialist and they have me on Gabapentin. Its been two weeks and it did nothing for my lumbar ever... but it did seem to help my cervical and arm/hand pain...
