I have pulmonary sarcoidosis, asthma and now apparently COPD. My pulmonologist sent me to a pulmonary rehabilitation program and today was my evaluation. I was surprised when the nurse said, oh, you have COPD. I said, what? She showed me the doctor had written COPD along with sarcoidosis and asthma. I can't quit smoking because I don't smoke. Apparantly you can get it from chronic coughing. Guess I will have to get the broncoscopy to get to the bottom of this. Anyone else have COPD that is a non-smoker?

I gave my 2 week notice last Friday 13th. Now to join you fine people in a life of leisure and nothing else to do but to look out for myself....is it just me or does that sound pretty boring? My goal was to live to retire and I guess having to take early retirement because of health reasons wasn't exactly the way I had planned things.
