I have pulmonary sarcoidosis, asthma and now apparently COPD. My pulmonologist sent me to a pulmonary rehabilitation program and today was my evaluation. I was surprised when the nurse said, oh, you have COPD. I said, what? She showed me the doctor had written COPD along with sarcoidosis and asthma. I can't quit smoking because I don't smoke. Apparantly you can get it from chronic coughing. Guess I will have to get the broncoscopy to get to the bottom of this. Anyone else have COPD that is a non-smoker?
