As I live alone, come grocery shopping day I don't have any help taking the groceries in...and boy, can all those bags get heavy!
One day, after struggling, huffing and puffing as usual, I remembered the little fold-up pull cart I always took to the flea market and thought, "Well, what the heck"... and took it out to the car, filled it with grocery bags...and Taaaa Daaaa! rolled all those groceries in the house in one trip!
Now I just park it in the hall closet and on grocery day I grab it on my way out..then when I come home I've got it in the back seat and ready to go!
Tis true when they say necessity is the mother of invention!

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...

I did search ebay for folding carts and found all sorts - all different price ranges. I found mine at a flea market!
And, way to go, Susie!!!! You are most brave to live deep in the woods, but I'll bet you love it, too!
First time poster here. Don't know where you live but I live in California and I grocery shop online. I can shop at midnight if I want and schedule the day and time of the delivery. And they not only bring the groceries to the door, they bring them in and put them on my kitchen counters so I don't have to bend over and pick them up off the floor. Were I not able to do this, I would have to impose on one of my kids and they allo have very busy schedules and small kids of their own. I'm housebound for the most part, but anything I can do for myself is one less thing I have to ask tham to do. Hope this helps and hope you can find something similar.
CLE19, first....may I welcome you to our group. There are some awesome people here, and we are delighted to have you join us.
I live in Boise, Idaho. I do not think there are any stores that have the service you describe available. But boy I wish they did. I am in a wheelchair and am dependent on my children to take me to the store. They become busy with there own lives and I feel like I am imposing on them asking for them to take me....or go for me. It is awesome that you have that available. Do they charge you for the service?

Another thing you can use if you can't find one of those basket carts is a old fashion wagon! We use to use one to go put kids in and roll around the fee market years ago.
I also have this laundry cart simular that I purchase a long time ago from CostCo.
I bet someone else can come up with ideas as well.

There is a delivery charge of about $10.00 but it's so worth it to me. And there is a minimum purchase as well but it's only $50.00 and we all know that it doesn't take much to spend $50.00 at the grocery store anymore. Noticed another poster who said that Safeway delivers in Arizona and that's who I use. Vons/Safeway. It wouldn't hurt to go online and search for online grocery delivery. Who knows. You might get lucky. Chris
Actuallty, we Do have Safeway in AZ. Basha's will do it too.. I think.
I luckily don't have to climb stairs But I do use carts anything on wheels .
I do the same thing (use a cart) for inside my home - carrying laundry back and forth is the big one for me!
Good luck
