Does anyone else with CVID have an issue with weight GAIN! Everything I see says that weight loss is a symptom, but I didn't start gaining until I began my IVIG treatment. My immunologist seems to think there is no correlation and just says "well we all struggle with our weight :-/". He's a great doc, but I have a hard time believing this is normal. Considering all the GI trouble I have, my body can't be absorbing enough of what I eat to make me gain weight!

My diet hasn't changed much except not drinking alcohol as much and eliminating dairy. Will my weight go back up after a few months once the ivig treatment starts working? Thanks for listening

The cancer support group doesn't talk every day. I can understand why. I'm waiting for the oncologist to call back for an appointment, and will hear in the next few days. Who knew. Ha!
