Hi, I have a question. I have a brother in-law who is now 41 years old. I have known him since he was like 23 years old.
In all that time, he has never had a girlfriend, ever. He says girls don't like him. Once, when he was like 26 years old, he moved away to another city with a guy friend. My husband, me and our kids went to visit one summer and him and his guy friend were sharing a condo together. Mind you there were two bedrooms. They came roller blading with us together. They sat with us together, having lunch. He is older now and moved out not long after our visit.
Last Xmas, I asked my brother in law if he was ever going to get a girlfriend and settle down etc. cause I just thought are we going to have to be here for you every year, cause I think that is what he expected. And, he just looked me straight in the eye and said I am never going to have a girlfriend and I'm never getting married. He then left in a hurry after saying that. I think he was embarrassed.
I did find out that the guy that he shared a condo with many years ago, was gay. Cause he told my husband months later, that he didn't know this guy was gay, and that is why he moved out. Just seems too coincidental that the guy was gay, he didn't know, yet his brother has never dated girls either.
So, with that said, it would be nice to get some opinions from other people on what they think. Am I reading too much into this or is he gay, or just asexual.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
Would it really make a differance if he was gay or straight? He is still going to be the same person, he might just be going through denial that he is gay. Internal homophoia, that is what I have I am so afraid of what people will think. You just need to give him time let him know that no matter what he will always be loved. Well I hope that some of my rambleing hepled in some way.
