Removed ascending colon for cancer in July 2006, and subsequently completed chemotherapy (6 cycles of 5-FU/LV) in February 2007. In April 2007 I underwent surgery to remove a residual cancerous mass which had a size of 2-3 centimeters in December 2006 grew during chemo to a size of apx 5cm by the end of March 2007. No neighboring organ was affected, however the infected mass was in contact with the right kidney and the vena cavae. My doctors are recommending second line chemotherapy. What is the stage of my cancer using the rating system you use in this forum?
