Hi everyone, I'm new here. I really need some help and hoping someone can help me. My dad was diagnosed with colon cancer 3 years ago, he had surgery to remove a large part of his colon. He followed up with chemo and radiation. He doesn't have the pouch he just goes to the bathroom normally as he did before the surgery. Here's the problem, it has been 3 years and he still has very frequent bowel movements. It's now to the point that he really won't leave the house. This is very hard on him and also on my mother and is causing a lot of stress for everyone. The good news is he is still cancer free and that's great. But does anyone have advice on how to help him have more control. Or even how to cope with this? We are trying to support him as much as possible but I can see that my mom is getting pretty stressed and I think maybe even depressed. I'm 41 and my parents are 73 & 74. Thanks to all in advance!
