I am sitting now in the hospital a day after colon surgery. My incision needed to be an open one due to a previous surgery (gall bladder). The mass that was in the cecum in the asending colon was larger they they thought. It was all removed plus the lymph nodes. The surgeon said that the reattachment of the colon went very well. My husband has been a gem through this as well as our boys. This web page has helped too. Thanks for the support.
