I am sitting now in the hospital a day after colon surgery. My incision needed to be an open one due to a previous surgery (gall bladder). The mass that was in the cecum in the asending colon was larger they they thought. It was all removed plus the lymph nodes. The surgeon said that the reattachment of the colon went very well. I am so thankful for getting a colonscopy in the first place. Doing the cleanse is no picnic but having it done truly saved my life. I am looking forward to a great life as I move into another season with our youngest graduation. There are grand children to love in the future, so much other things I want to do. My husband has been a gem through this as well as our boys. This web page has helped too. Thanks for the support.
