hi all,i'm new to this sight and have a question hoping someone can help.My mom had colon cancer ,had major surgery and now has a colostomy.Its been over a year and she is now having the same heavy feeling in her rectum tht she had before she got diagnosed,she went and had all the tests done including a ct but it is all negative they say shes perfect..thank god but did or does anyone else have this problem or know why it happens?i know they say that you can have a phantom rectum..but that answer just isn't good enough.She says the feeling gets worse if she sits for long periods of times or stands for long periods of times.any help would be greatly appreciated thanks lori
