When you're stressed out and can't study, take a warm shower or bath with some really nice scented shower-gel that is relax oriented. Buy one of those scrubby bath things and wash yourself nicely and then comb your hair. It gets your circulation going again after those dreadful hours of studying and it just relaxes all your tense muscles beautifully.
Afterwards, play some relaxing music and have a cup of camomile tea. Read a book for LEISURE for 10 minutes and then go to sleep. You shall fall asleep in no time.
If you still feel the need to study, wind your alarm clock 3 hrs earlier and wake up and study then. I find I can accomplish more in those 3 hrs than in 2 whole afternoons/nights. It's brilliant and you really wake up feeling lovely after the bath and tea n all. It boosts your confidence and gets your system back to normal. Lots of the college stress is caused by the late nights and avoiding them instantly eliminates a ton of problems.
