There is a concept that has helped me understand interactions that had once just left me in a cloud.
It is the idea that there is a parental, adult-like, and childlike ways of interacting. And one may float within PAC during interaction. And relating gets problematic when the P and C is doing most of the interacting without the acknowledgement of the A.

Hi, Some people are in P most of the time, some people are in C most of the time, some people are in A most of the time. I enjoy relating when there is a even balance.
