Another cold day here in Long Island NY, but inside is warm and cozy. Going to sit down with the kids (his and mine) and make salt dough ornaments today. I actually have paint and other craft supplies this year that I bought when I was working at the SA, all my other stuff got sold at auction when I couldnt pay the storage bill in Florida. But most of it was replaced, so its all good.
While they're working with the salt dough, I thought I might try my hand with the applesauce and cinnamon dough (just hope I have enough cinnamon), I truly believe that this is how the best memories start. Taking the time to really spend some time with the kids and let them know just because we're (I dont want to use the word "poor") having some financial trouble is no reason not to have a good time with the family, and some of the best stuff is handmade.
Why am I doing all this? Coz Im so tired of sitting down watching tv with him, its so boring. Why wait for him to suggest we do something together in as a family?
If anything I noticed that he appears to be co-dependant on me- honey can you get me a glass of soda? Can I have seconds? Then hands me his plate. His arms and legs arent broke!
I mean I do all the cooking, the cleaning, the laundry and everything else...oh wait this isnt co-dependancy this is just pure LAZINESS!

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...

I discovered that even though my life is screwed up, and we arent going to have a lot this year...its the memories we create during the hard times that last a life time.
So even if my current significant other refuses to share in this with us, at least I am secure in the knowledge that even if we do break up in the end, his own daughters will remember me as a friend.
