blessings!
I have memories of various childhood experiences that could have helped me along but I mostly remember positives about my parents specifically; not that there is an absence of negative stuff it just ins't an overwhelming majority.

there doesn't have to be abuse. i am learning that now. it's simply being human, a lack of connection, emotional honesty etc.
"healing the child within" is a great read on this. to see how we got where we are.
very bright, articulate and community-involved people who should never have been parents.
Not whining here, just the fact. Very critical and angry people...i'm just waking up to all of this now.
