Codependency Support Group
Codependency is defined as someone who exhibits too much, and often inappropriate, caring for another person's struggles. A codependent person may try to change, or feel shame about their most private thoughts and feelings if they conflict with the other person's struggles. If you are on a journey towards self-love, this support group is for you. Join us and find others...
My thoughts are that you may benefit from recognizing and accepting that you can not "get her to trust" you or any changes she may/may not perceive in you. You can provide her with information and you can show her with you 'changed actions' but if she doesn't accept it or continues to feel the way she does (as she is allowed) you can't change that. As you know, you can only control, only change you.
Thats my take on it and I`am sticken to it... : )
the only way you can "get" her to trust is to keep walking the walk. trust is a gift you give to someone, it is not earned.
blessings!
The people Laura is talking to may not see the need for growth and change in their own lives.
