My 4th step shows me that I am selfish. To address this issue I want to give regularly to a charity. It still comes from a selfish angle though because I have been reading stuff (laws of abundance) that the more you give the more you receive so I am kinda hoping for the best for myself. According to Christian philosophy you are encouraged to give 10% of your income to charity. My question is - is that before or after tax? and if you are giving for the wrong reasons does is matter?
