I am an addict in recovery for the last 5 years. I have been going through a lot of medical problems that are causing me tremendous pain. I had my thumbnail removed last week (still feeling that!) I have developed a double ear infection so my hearing is all screwed up (I wear 2 aids normally) Ears are painful. Can't wear aids while my ears are draining.... In February I'm due to have 20 teeth pulled and get dentures (due to past drug use). What I basically want to know is has anyone out there in recovery had problems getting pain relief medications. Because I am an addict I am very, very sensitive to pain. What did you have to do to find effective relief? I really don't want to start using again, but the pain is making me crazy!!!

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips.
