This is so embarrassing, the other day my internet stopped working, I checked all the normal things, is it plugged in, does the modem have power, couldn't get it to work. So, first thing in the morning called my tech support, I was so happy about getting though to someone right away. Turns out, the phone cord wasn't plugged into the little filter. I was like, oh, sorry, I should have checked that. But he wouldn't let me get off the phone for a minute, we had to go though a couple more steps.

I was on the phone yesterday with a friend who got a new laptop for Christmas and couldn't get her wireless connection to work. After spending about an hour on the phone with her I convinced her to turn it off and back on which reset her internal modem. Some people are just meant to use a pen and paper.
