Cleft occurs in somewhere between one in 600 and one in 800 births. Cleft occurs in several severities and is divided in two major categories: cleft lip and cleft palate.

We were sent an angel from god in March. Our son was born with cleft lip and palate. We have our first surgery of many on July 10th. Then they are repairing both sides of the lip, nose, gum, and ear tubes. We are so nervous yet excited. If anyone can let us know, if you have had this done with your child or you, please feel us in. Thank you.
