My son has to have a procedure done that envolves secruing his tounge to the roof of his mouth and leaving it there for 6-12 weeks to let the tissue connect to the roof so that when they are able to close the fistula they will have the tissue to cover it. However it seems impossible to eat with your tounge stuck to the top of your mouth, the doctors seem to think it will be fine. If anyone has any info on this or has had or know someone who has had this done please let me know. We are very nervous about this considering he is underwight as it is. Thanks.

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
