Hi all, Tuesday I find out if I 'll get on the transplant list. I had all the tests done Blood tests, Heart stress test,MRI's,Catscans 4 teeth pulled (cant have any bad teeth before the transplant Pulinary tests (lungs ) Colonosopy , Anosopy. The tests go on and on.Sarting to get nervise now that I'm getting closer. I really dont know how I feel about it I'm a little scared I wonder how I'll feel as I'm getting prepped I'm worried about my wife and 12 yr old boy. No one around here realy talk about it. I know we have to talk more about it just so they are somewhat prepared

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I can understand why you feel so scared. Due the fact it is a major surgery and introducing a new organ into your body. But if all goes well it may extend your life so much longer and you could be in better health. I consider you so lucky as I can't even get on the list yet and if could would feel so blessed. Good luck as you progress further. Sounds like you are getting the majority of things done they require. I hadn't relized what you go through getting so close to the top of the list. Hang in there and you and your family will be in my prayers.
