I'm 40y/o waiting to hear about the status of my disability(and not holding my breath). In the mean time I have been unable to work. I have no health or life insurance. Where can I turn to get coverage with pre-existing conditions? Any suggestions?

try googling.or contact ins co for info,if all elso falls,contact your congressman or state senator. good luck....

I just submitted paperwork for health insurance (medicare partD) and they didn't ask any health questions.
From what I understand however, some companies may have a certain time frame in which they will not cover you for the pre-existing condition..after whatever their time frame is, they will.
Be honest about any health issues though because if you don't list them...they'll NEVER cover you.

I am getting ready to find an attorney to help me file soc. sec. disability. So far I understand that you must be disabled now or be so within the year. They will need a doctors authorization. Mine is ready to do so once I get the ball rolling. I want to get it started because I have heard they may reject you several times but keep trying until you are accepted. Some get it right away. I also ask my sis attorney that does some work for prexisting conditons like hep c or cirrhosis. He had me look under covercolorado. I did go in and get some estimates without actually talking to anyone and it still seemed rather high per month. Depending on what you can pay out of pocket you may want to do some research in your state. Maybe looking like I did under your state or finding and attorney that first time visit is free and see what info he can lead you to. In the mean time keep applying for the disability if it don't go through. Good luck. It is a shame money has a say in our health conditions that are life threatening.

GREAT QUESTION, I, ALSO WOULD LIKE TO KNOW. I FINALLY HAVE A COURT DATE IN MARCH, BUT WAS TOLD IT WILL TAKE ANOTHER SIX MONTHS BEFORE COVERAGE.

    theatre and I are there already. I'm having a very berry tea with crackers, cheese and cherry tomatoes and she's having a joint with some beer and we're both on really comfy recliners on thick pile carpet. we need some help with the decor if anyone is around??

    I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
