My husband has Hep C and stage 4 cirrhosis. What does genotype 3a mean. Also his tumor marker is 11.3. Always feels bad, aches alot, lately he says he has been dizzy and can't keep his eyes open. Primary doctor told him today that it was all from depression and pretty much didn't want to discuss it any further but to tell him to GET OUT OF THE HOUSE, FIND A HOBBY, ENJOY YOUR LIFE. He says he's depressed cause he always feels like crap, she say he feels like crap cause he's depressed. I agree with her to a certain extent but would think that she would ask him how he is doing. He was more depressed when we left cause he felt like she didn't want to hear what he had to say. I also think his meld score is 7 - if I am getting the creatinine and the bilirubin numbers from the right section of his blood work
