my sister is having a liver biopsy next wk. and they cant figure out what is wrong with her. Liver enzymes were 777 at one point. have gone down 50% now, but still 10 times higher than should be. She's scared to death of having the biopsy, but also what they may find. has been tested and neg. for hemochromotosis. abd. us shows no stones, and blood work says neg. for hepatitis. she's not a drinker or smoker and dr. even admitted that he can't figure out what's wrong and if had to guess, thinks she may have autoimmune liver disease. please say lots of prayers for her. ( and me to be a strong support!)
