I thought I'd check in and pick your collective brains, again (hopefully not to Craig's chagrin). The results of my recent Liver panel have not been disclosed to me as of yet. But, I've been reading some prior posts and trying to strengthen my knowledge and wisdom about this. As a long time subscriber to "snake oils," I'm coming to the conclusion that most are probably best left alone.
One thing of particular interest is that during my last visit with my PCP, he prescribed vitamin B-1. I thought it was simply to try and aid with fatigue, but upon reading the fact sheet I noticed it is commonly prescribed to individuals with GI ailments. On the plus side, a recent upper GI revealed nothing more than a benign polyp, Which I guess is a positive. I'm unsure if that procedure can reveal anything concerning the condition of the Liver. Can anyone say?
Also, I'm curious about some of the perhaps more subtle symptoms. I've been prone to a right earache for nearly a year. I seem to get one once a week without fail even though the duration is usually only for a day or two.
As I'm about 20 pds. underweight, I'm unsure if this is relevant or not, but most the veins visible in my inner elbows are spidered, or really thin. I think I'm a bit young for that to just happen. So, I'm wondering if that could likely be related.
Well, I'm learning that seldom are two cases exactly alike. In fact, I don't like living under the specter of it at all. But if it does come down to it, I hope to still have a decent quality of life.

Today is my 25th birthday, to my somewhat lack of surprise I can see already no one really seems to care. I've always been the kinda person to make sure that everyone I Care about feels appreciated and knew somebody had their back. I can count 4 times this year when I Went out of my way to make sure a "friend" felt good on their birthday, especially if they got left hanging. Its early in the...
I think I mentioned in a prior post that I have "Terry's Nails," or finger nails that turn white, but maintain a normal colored band at the top and bottom. This was what really set me to thinking about C. I never heard from anyone else who may have them. I think they are associated with tendon tightening that supposedly occurs from C. Again, I'm awaiting to hear from the jury.
Thanks.
Usually being the operative word here.
Have no input about your veins, maybe an angiologist can help
