I'm most interested in what other patients with stubborn, moderate to severe pain take daily to obtain relief.I know that there is usually the main medication with another for breakthrough pain...does that mean that both are actually taken in one given day? I know that I have always needed both and wonder if this is the norm or if the main medication should totally eradicate most of the pain? Or do people need both and routinely take both daily?
