by nature i m a very anxious person. when my pain levels are very high i tighten up causing more muscle spasms mostly but not limited to my back. the spasms cause my hands and feet to tingle and sometimes their pain exceeds the original pain.i can sometimes handle the spasms with heat, rest and meds but i of course would prefer avoiding them in the 1st place. the problem is that i m totally unaware of the sensation until it is too late because i'm so busy tending to my usual chronic pain. any suggestions ?
