Has anyone ever heard of amyloidosis (hereditary type). My brother was diagnosed with this when his doctor found some type of skin tag. Guess this is very hereditary. I'm not going to think about this but I will take it to my primary before the surgery. Sure hope it is just a coincidence.

Sounds strange to discover the diagnosis as incidental to a skin tag...this needs to be firmly diagnosed or excluded as it is not a trivial condition.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse.
